12/24V 65A Battery Protect
A reliable safeguard disconnecting batteries from non-essential loads, preserving capacity for vital tasks such as bilge pumps and engine cranking. With automatic detection of system voltage in 12/24V Auto-Ranging, this device ensures seamless integration.
 
Easy programming allows customization of engagement/disengagement at various voltages through a convenient seven-segment display. Li-ion battery compatibility and control by the VE.Bus BMS make it versatile, serving as a charge interrupter as well.
Featuring over-voltage protection, the Battery Protect disconnects loads when DC voltage exceeds 16V or 32V, eliminating sparks with ignition-proof MOSFET switches. The delayed alarm output prevents false alarms during engine starts, activating only after 12 seconds below the preset disconnect level.
 
For enhanced safety, the load disconnects 90 seconds after the alarm, reconnecting 30 seconds after the voltage rises beyond the preset threshold. Note that the Battery Protect is uni-directional, managing current flow from the battery to the load or charger, not both simultaneously. In load use, the battery connects to the Battery terminal, while the charger connects to the Battery terminal in charging scenarios.
